The plan outlines how the 4 administrations of the UK work together to provide a rapid and effective response to exotic notifiable animal diseases. The plan describes the roles, responsibilities, structures and communications used to co-ordinate the disease outbreak response.
The UK plan complements and should be read alongside the individual plans produced by each administration in the UK. These provide additional detail on the country specific response arrangements and structures.
This plan has been produced by the Animal and Plant Health Agency on behalf of each administration in the UK.
