APPENDIX L: RANGE POLICY

The range policy curves PRange use an offset sinusoid curve to provide smooth round-off to the near and far ranges. The program automatically scales the range policy curve such that the area under the curve is equal to unity: i.e. 100% of shots lie within the range policy curve. B and U are re-computed for each range, so the overall probabilities are
