APPENDIX A: FILES SUPPLIEDIn addition to the program QUARRY.EXE the following 59 introductory datafiles are supplied, each of which contains a brief self-description: Quarry: species, physiology and presentation CANADA.QDF Load: shot density, size and mass, velocity, drag and choke BI#4S32H.LDF Accuracy: firer accuracy relevant to static and moving targets BIRDFAIR.EDF Policy: retrieving dog and range issues 40YARDS.PDF These datafiles are not protected against overwriting and so may be modified. Program users are encouraged to write their own datafiles to suit the particular shooting conditions of interest. This can be achieved by either using the program's output menu or by use of a Text Editor such as Windows Notepad. Quarry datafiles can not be generated from within the QUARRY program, so requiring a Text Editor or similar. As DOS datafiles, all these files are limited to filenames of up to 8 letters, with a three letter extension, and must contain only standard ASCII text.
