Commons & greens registration and management association

Jim Knight, former Minister for Rural Affairs, Landscape and Biodiversity announced at the 5th National Seminar on Common Land and Town and Village Greens on 13th of September 2005, funding, to cover for three years, for an Association for Commons Registration Officers the Commons & Greens Registration and Management Association (CGRMA).

Defra commissioned Land Use Consultants to research the feasibility of the establishment of an association of commons registration officers, in order to improve delivery of existing and proposed common land legislation.
