TSE Archive's charges for tissues

The IAAG have confirmed a scale of charges to be applied to materials supplied from the TSE Archive. These costs along with a list of potentially available tissues and fluids can be found in the general list of tissues available.

All recipients are charged for delivery and packing. Commercial companies and institutes not operating under UK government funding will be charged for the supply of TSE materials. Further details of likely charges will be provided once we have an indication of the nature of your request, and will be confirmed if and when your application is approved.

To date, Defra has funded the collection, storing and provision of tissues from the TSE Archive. The Archive has acted as a resource to enable the international research effort into TSEs.

Researchers who have been supplied with tissues have been asked to inform Defra of the results of the research performed on these tissues. This has extended Defra's knowledge and research base.
