VLA has over 100 years of experience in the diagnosis and control of important diseases of farm livestock.
Over the years we have developed and marketed both individual reagents (mainly antigens and antibodies) and diagnostic kits.

- Avian influenza
An extensive range of antigens and antisera for avian influenza diagnosis sub-typing and serological analysis
VLA offers an extensive range of standardised veterinary reagents and diagnostic kits for the detection of infection with Brucella spp.
A range of bacterial genotyping kits based on the innovative ArrayTube platform.
- Mycoplasma
VLA has two reagents for the rapid diagnostic testing of contagious bovine pleuropneumonia (CBPP) and contagious caprine pleuropneumonia (CCPP).
