Commercial disinfectants testing
Disinfectants are a vital part of disease prevention.
With our knowledge of disinfectants and regulations, VLA is offering a new service to support the disinfectant manufacturing industry.
This service includes:
Disinfectant dilution range finding for the lowest concentration for the maximum effectiveness.
- Newcastle disease virus
- Mycobacterium fortuitum (surrogate for Mycobacterium sp)
- Salmonella choleraesuis
Extensive efficacy testing to support the formulation and development stages of new disinfectant products.
- Influenza A virus (H1N1) - swine and avian influenza
- Feline calicivirus - (surrogate for norovirus)
- Eimeria species
- Marek's disease virus
- Chick anaemia virus
- Infectious bursal disease virus (Gumboro)
- Transmissible gastroenteritis virus
- Canine parvovirus
Validated disinfectant tests for other organisms are continually being developed and will be added to this page when they are available.
