Animal diseases caused by viruses are a threat to both animal and human health. With our work here at VLA we aim to provide an early warning system, expert consultancy and diagnostic services for exotic viral disease.

We also aim to rapidly control and eradicate these diseases when they are present. Many of our research projects are carried out in collaboration with other organisations.
