Matrix (M) gene RRT PCR

Validation has shown that this modified M gene RRT PCR assay can sensitively detect

  • current influenza A viruses known to infect pigs in Eurasia, and
  • can also detect current pandemic (H1N1) 2009 virus in pigs infected experimentally.
