Herdsure®, VLA’s cattle health improvement service, announces the launch of the UK’s first neospora testing programme suitable for all herds.

VLA has officially opened a new high containment virus research facility to benefit exotic disease research. It has been awarded a ‘very good’ BREEAM rating.
Information on bovine besnoitiosis
This disease has not yet been identified in Great Britain. But there is a possibility it could be imported via live cattle from affected areas elsewhere in Europe. Please report any suspected cases to your local VLA Regional Laboratory or SAC Disease Surveillance Centre.
