Putting sustainable development into practice
The film begins with a short history of the term ‘sustainable development’. It takes a look at Defra, and how this film is designed to help people understand how sustainable development works in the department. It focuses on three cases in which Defra policy has contributed to sustainable development. It shows how the department is already changing to integrate these principles into its work. Themes which are common in many departments and organisations. Although this was developed for Defra, you may find it a useful basis for your own organisation.
