Changes in sustainable development measures since 1990 and 2003.

- Indicators for sustainable consumption and production (SCP) mainly cover emissions, resource use and waste. 15 measures show improvement compared with 2003
rising to 21 measures compared with 1990. Those showing improvement include, emissions of nitrogen oxide and particulates from road transport, carbon dioxide emissions
from domestic energy use, water resources, waste and land recycling. - Measures showing deterioration since 2003 are greenhouse gases from aviation and shipping as well as farmland bird populations.
