  • The percentage of 16-18 year olds not in employment, education or training has increased slightly from 8.4 per cent in 1994 to 10.3 per cent in 2008.  Although not directly comparable owing to different data sources, the percentage in 2008 is close to the level in 1990 of 10.7 per cent.
  • After two years of declining, the proportion increased in 2008.
