Regional Implementation Plans
The Regional Implementation Plans (RIPs) set out how the next Rural Development Programme (RDP) for England will be used in each of the regions. The content of the plans has informed the content of the detailed England Programme Document.
The eight individual Regional Implementation Plans set out how the Rural Development Programme for England 2007-2013 will be delivered in the England regions according to their own regional and sub-regional priorities (as set out in Regional Rural Delivery Frameworks and Regional Economic Strategies) within the framework of the national priorities, which were consulted on last year.
The delivery partners for the next Programme (Natural England, the Forestry Commission and the RDAs) have worked with a wide range of stakeholders to develop the plans, with Government Offices helping to facilitate the process.
