Mid Term Evaluations
To ensure that the programme was on track and achieving its aims and objectives as set out with the agreement, the European Commission Regulations, at the start of this programme in 2002, asked for an independent mid-term evaluation of the programme to be completed by the end of 2003. Additionally, a further progress report was required by the end of 2005 and called for the managing authority to make recommendations where appropriate, if necessary.
