Members of the Committee made a number of visits in order to familiarise themselves with hunting and related activities. Not all members were able to go on each visit but, by the end of the programme, every member had observed a wide range of activities.
On each visit members were accompanied by observers from the Countryside Alliance and Deadline 2000. Their role was to advise the Committee as necessary and to provide reassurance that the Committee were seeing activities as they would normally have taken place.
