Defra’s sustainable procurement policy statement

This policy statement requires the whole of Defra to take responsibility for what it procures and for our suppliers to support us. It applies where Defra is procuring goods, services, works and utilities.
Defra’s agencies and NDPBsmay wish to adopt or adapt this policy statement for their own strategies, where they do not have an existing policy in place.
