News - Potato ring rot

  • Seed potatoes infected with the bacterium Clavibacter michiganensis sepedonicus, which causes potato ring rot have been found at a Welsh farm. The Plant Health Service has contingency arrangements (pdf) in place for responding to outbreaks of ring rot, which have now been initiated.
