PVS: UK - Seed Certification: On-line applications

The online application system allows users to submit all forms online (CERT 2, CERT 3 summ, CERT 4, CERT 7, CERT 7 summ). Licensed Seed Testing Stations can also submit thier final seed test reports (CERT10) through this new online service.

Payments can be made either online, by credit card or debit card using the online payments system, or if the user prefers they can send a cheque or BACS advice slip to Defra while still utilising the automatic fee calculation facility.

All you need to do is select the 'Register and enrol' menu option on the front page and follow the on screen instructions. On the Registration screen you will be asked the following:

  • Choose 'User type' - select 'organisation' from the drop down list
  • Enter official number - use your company registration number or LSTS number (e.g 07180 or LSTS-07180)
  • Enter the postcode - use the postcode for the registered company or LSTS.

At the end of the registration process you will be issued with a User Id and will already have chosen your password so that you can start using the system immediately.

In the case of relatively large files, readers are advised to save the file directly onto their own PC rather than opening it via their web browser. Using the Microsoft Internet Explorer web browser right-click on the link, select "Save Target As", and choose a suitable location on your PC; using the Netscape web browser right-click on the link and choose "Save Link As".
