- UK Seed Certification – Guides and Registers: The Instructions to licensed and official crop inspectors in England and Wales has been updated.

- Protocols and procedures for tests and trials: the VCU protocols and procedures for Test and Trial Design and Data Validation and Test and Trial Inspection and Data Handling have been produced.
- April edition of Plant Varieties and Seeds Gazette and the first 2008 Special Edition have been published. Due to ongoing reviews of information relating to the Vegetable 'B' List varieties, the Special Edition has provisionally been produced without 'Section B United Kingdom National List of Varieties of Vegetable Plant Species'. A complete edition including the updated 'B' list will be published shortly
- UK Seed Certification – Guides and Registers: The Registers of Registered Companies and Licensed Seed Testing Stations have been up dated. The Tetrazolium testing for certification in England – procedures have also been revised.
- The UK response to the Food Chain Evaluation Consortium (FCEC) qualitative questionnaire used by the FCEC to evaluate the Community acquis on the marketing of Seed and Plant Propagating Materials (S&PM).
