PVS: Committee Reports
The Terms of Reference:
- To coordinate overall UK policy on National Listing (NL), Plant Breeders' Rights (PBR) and Seed Certification.
- To review and decide on representations against proposed decisions made under the UK National List Regulations on behalf of the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs, the Scottish Executive, the Welsh Assembly Government and the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland or where appropriate to make recommendations to Ministers.
- To approve membership and Chairmanship of NLSC.
- To review and where appropriate accept DUS and VCU protocols for the official examination of plant varieties for NL purposes.
