- The Plant Health (Amendment) (England) Order 2004 entered into force
on 6 October. This Order implements new fireblight provisions, the accession
of 10 new member states to the EU, new trade arrangements between the
EU and Switzerland and some minor Protected Zone amendments.

This guide also contains details of changes to the genera and species covered by the Marketing of Fruit Plant Material Regulations 1995 which will apply from 31 October. 12 Oct 04
