Consumer communications

This group of projects is focusing on communication of messages to consumers and users of growing media.

What are the messages we are currently giving to consumers on growing media and peat use and what messages do we want to give consumers in the future.


  • P9: Consumer messages and green claims – is focusing on whether we are confusing the consumers with the messaging being used on packaging and at point of sale and what can we do to improve consumer messaging now and in the future.
  • P11: Engagement and Commitment – is focusing on how to achieve commitment and buy-in to the Task Force’s approach to sustainable growing media.
