PAW VideoThis video illustrates examples of wildlife crime, and the devastating effects it can have. In some circumstances wildlife crime can affect the conservation status of certain species. It can also be very cruel. The video covers both the illegal import of endangered species, and the exploitation of our native wildlife species for commercial gain.
The video goes on to explain the role of PAW in contributing to efforts to combat wildlife crime. The video was produced with the support of a number of Partners. We are particularly grateful to the Asian Conservation Awareness Programme who undertook the production work. Financial support was provided by Defra, the RSPB, BASC, and the Scottish Executive. Copies of the video were distributed to those with a professional interest in the enforcement of wildlife law and it can be viewed in full on YouTube. If you represent an organisation that wants to make use of the video but did not receive a copy directly, please contact the PAW Secretariat. View the video |
