What is the National Scrapie Plan? 
The National Scrapie Plan (NSP) for Great Britain is a strategic long-term plan which consists of a breeding programme to increase the number of sheep that genetically are naturally resistant to Transmissible Spongiform Encephalopathies (TSEs) eg scrapie. This breeding programme consists of different NSP schemes and initiatives.
The aim of the National Scrapie Plan
The objective of the NSP is to reduce and eventually eradicate TSEs like scrapie from the national sheep flock.
