National Forest Company chair reappointed
Dinah Nichols has been reappointed Chair of the National Forest Company for three more years.
Ms Nichols has held the post since 2005 and will continue as Chair until 31 March 2011.
The post attracts a salary of £16,625 a year for an average of one day a week.
The National Forest Company is a non-departmental public body established in 1995 to oversee the creation of a 200 square mile National Forest in the Midlands. To date more than seven million trees have been planted which has increased woodland cover in the forest from 6 per cent to nearly 18 per cent.
