Defra Evidence and Innovation Strategy
Defra has a wide range of R&D, monitoring, advisory and statistics programmes and internal expert capabilities. The Department is reviewing its programme and resource allocations for the future against the strategic outcomes set out in the five year strategy to focus more on innovation and better integration.
As part of this process, statement of needs documents have been drawn up for each programme area. There are statements of needs relating to:
- Sustainable Marine Fisheries
