UK Location Programme: Governance
The Location Council
A new Transformational Government group called the Location Council, chaired by Defra's Deputy Chief Scientific Adviser Miles Parker, provides leadership and strategic direction for the implementation of the UK Location Strategy and the INSPIRE Directive. Members will support the implementation through their organisations’ involvement in work streams.
Members
The Location Council comprises board level and other senior representatives of the departments and agencies in local, devolved and central government that are significantly involved as either users and/or suppliers of location information across the UK.
