Forthcoming events

We are pleased to announce a special briefing session on the UK Location Programme specifically aimed at System Suppliers.

This is to help this important community better understand how the programme will deliver tangible benefits for them and their customers and to help them prepare for the delivery of these benefits arising from the UK Location Strategy.

The event takes place on 18 November at the School of Economic Science in London.

A series of five UK wide outreach events were organised in association with the Association for Geographic Information (AGI) to support the UK Location Programme.

Background

Three key objectives were set in the delivery and execution of these events:

  • To gain feedback and input into the Consultation Document supporting the transposition phase of the programme
  • To present and gain feedback on the Conceptual Design and Implementation elements of the programme
  • To continue to build the awareness and understanding of INSPIRE and the aspirations of UK Location Programme and to address the ‘lack of communication’ issues.
