The Draft Bee Diseases and Pests Control (England) Order 2006
Defra has written to beekeeping associations and other interested stakeholders about proposals to update legislation that protects the English honey bee population against the introduction and spread of serious diseases and pests of bees. Changes would be implemented through a new Statutory instrument (SI), the Bee Diseases and Pests Control (England) Order 2006.
The deadline for any comments on the draft SI is 20 January 2006.
