GVS Past conferencesThe GVS organise an annual conference to support the work of vets across government. The purpose of the conference is to provide opportunities for networking across the range of departments and agencies where vets work, to share best practice and to provide continuing professional development both in technical and broader professional areas. Recent joint conferences with the Association of Government Veterinarians (AGV) - a specialist branch of the British Veterinary Association (BVA) and with Glasgow Veterinary School have supported the network and provided significant input to the events. By bringing in a diverse range of presenters and offering both workshop and masterclass opportunities, participants have a great opportunity to learn, share ideas and shape their contribution to government through these events. The last conference was held in Glasgow in June 2007. If you would like access to presentations or information on past conferences please get in touch by email.
