Sustainable Development
GDS will seek to follow the five priorities of Defra’s five year strategy and will contribute to meeting the Government targets for improving performance on environmental management systems, emissions on business travel, water consumption, waste and recycling, energy efficiency, and sustainable procurement.
GDS will monitor performance against targets to identify where improvements can be made and will raise staff awareness of the sustainable operations so that they can contribute to its success.
