UK Government Decontamination Service

Announcements

Announcement 16 October 2009

  • On 24 and 25 November 2009 GDS will be attending the Emergency Services Show for the third year in succession.  This is an important event in our calendar where we can share information and meet key staff from organisations that would be part of the multiagency response and subsequent recovery from a CBRN incident in the UK.  This year we will be sharing details on how we are developing the decontamination options and additional services available from Fera.
  • We will show how the service is building on the incidents we have participated in and how we should be part of any CBRN recovery strategy.
  • Nigel Wilson, Head of Fera’s Emergency Response and Recovery Programme and formerly Deputy Chief Executive of GDS, will be presenting at the conference on 25 November.
