Under the Animal Health Act (1981), the following legislation has been made:
The Poultry Breeding Flocks and Hatcheries Order 1993 SI Number 1898
Breeding flocks of poultry and hatcheries are required to be registered and tested for Salmonella and this Order gives details of the requirements.
