We deal with strategic and regulatory issues, and stakeholder engagement, in these areas;

The EU CAP egg and poultry regimes including:
- EC Egg & Poultry Management Committee (ManCom)
- Marketing and quality standards for eggs (including grading, packing, storage, labelling and special marketing terms (SMT) - criteria for free range and barn production systems)
- Marketing and quality standards for poultry and poultrymeat (including grading, condition of presentation, labelling, water content and SMT)
- Hatcheries regulations
International trade matters relating to eggs and poultry (export refunds, representative prices)
Liaison and lead policy contact with the Egg Marketing Inspectorate (EMI)
Commodity questions relating to laying hens, broiler (meat type) chickens, capons, turkeys, ducks, geese, rabbits, farmed game birds (eg, pheasants), quail and snails
