The following pages show what Defra is doing to help protect the health of our farm livestock. Information is available on a variety of topics that will be of interest to livestock owners, veterinary surgeons, anyone who buys, sells or transports livestock and everyone interested in the health of farm animals.
Livestock market visits 2009 - The livestock market visits give farmers the opportunity to speak with Defra representatives about new legislation and disease prevention. They will be visiting various locations around the country from September to November.
