Cattle initiative - Cattle Initiative Projects in England

A fully “joined up” health initiative is the only way that active herd health management can be made to effectively work in practice. The initiative being proposed by Wood Veterinary Group will produce a group of 20 sentinel herds which will become a focus for training and promotion, demonstrating a practical way to achieve this sort of health management approach. The central feature of the project will be to have reliable and consistent data recording on farms as this is the only way to drive the whole process through the management cycle.
