Farm Health Planning: Sub Groups
Each sector approaches the project and partnership working in the way that best fits with its needs through subgroups of the Working Group ( except in the case of pigs where the Pig Health and Welfare Council fulfils this role). Key functions of the groups are to:
- develop suitable farm health planning tools and publicise these;
- develop farm level models which show how costs can be saved by controlling disease;
- identify and, where necessary, develop communication networks to make sure that the sector is aware of the information available;
- identify what initiatives will best promote active farm health planning.
