Nutrient management
Nutrient management is one of the subjects to be covered by the new Farming Advice Service. Free expert advice will be provided through events such as farm workshops, farm walks, drop in clinics, newsletters, text messages and a comprehensive helpline where you can speak to experts.
This website will provide:
- Access to online and helpline advice available on Nutrient Management, and
- Regularly updated dates, locations and other information on regional and national FAS “events” featuring Nutrient Management.
Information sources
The industry’s Tried and Tested website created by AIC (Agricultural Industries Confederation), FWAG (Farming & Wildlife Advisory Group), LEAF (Linking Environment and Farming) , NFU (National Farmers Union) and the Country Land and Business Association (CLA) hosts the proven Tried and Tested Nutrient Management Plan together with links to and/or detailed information on fertiliser application, nutrient planning, NVZs, slurry and manure management, sewage sludge, certification and certificated advisers, new developments, R&D, interested organisations and their publications, nutrient events and workshops, and soils.
