FAS Workshops

Farming Advice Service workshop on Thursday 29th March at Prees Cricket & Recreation Club, Brades Road, Prees, Whitchurch, Shropshire, SY13 2DX

The workshop will take place between 10.00 am – 2.00 pm, and a light lunch will be provided.

The event will cover Cross Compliance issues, with an emphasis on helping you avoid penalties for non-compliances. Key areas covered will be the Soil Protection Review (SPR) and the new requirements for nutrient management in 2012, including GAEC 19 requirements for ‘No-Spread Zones’ by our regional adviser, Rob Kynaston. Other speakers will also provide advice to help with sprayer and spreader checks, Nitrate Vulnerable Zones (NVZ), and animal records.

You will also be provided with an up-date on CAP reform and details about what is new with Catchment Sensitive Farming (CSF).

BASIS and NRoSO CPD points are available for attendees.
