The Welfare of Farmed Animals Regulations in England detail the standards under which you must keep farm animals.
Anyone attending animals must be familiar with and have access to the appropriate welfare codes.
The codes are specific to each species of animal and can be accessed though the Animal Health and Veterinary Laboratories Agency (AHVLA) website.
