image of sign-up screen on WFA website

To either sign-up or complete your registration, you will need to click on the appropriate option in the ‘Getting started with Whole Farm Approach’ box. You will be guided through both processes on a step-by-step basis.

What information do I need to provide in order to sign up?

In addition to a PC (see below), you will need:

  • your e-mail address
  • your main CPH (County Parish Holding) number

If you do not have or cannot recall your main holding number, call our helpline on 08459 33 55 77.

What computer equipment do I need?

If your computer is less than three years old you are unlikely to have a problem with accessing WFA, however we recommend that the system you use as a  minimum meets the following  requirements:

  • A computer - desktop or laptop (unfortunately at this time WFA does not support Macs)
  • 128MB of RAM, 600MB of available hard disk space to install then 370MB thereafter to run
  • A display resolution of 800 x 600 and 256 colours (1024 x 768 resolution recommended)
  • An internet connection (broadband is quicker)
  • Internet Explorer version 6  or higher
  • A CD-ROM drive (only required for Windows based questionnaire)

In addition you will need to enable the following:

  • Javascript
  • Cookies

If you use a firewall or security program you may need to ensure that it allows the Appraisal to communicate across the internet. The Appraisal program will be referred to as either ‘Win Questionnaire Main Program’ or ‘WinQuestionnaire.exe’.
