Implementation Group Final Report
The Implementation Group held its last meeting in April 2006 and has produced a report on their reflections on SFFS progress. New independent governance arrangements have been set up in the form of a Delivery Group and Leadership Group.

The Implementation Group has overseen the delivery of the Government's Sustainable Farming and Food Strategy. The Implementation Group has worked with the farming and food industries and government to drive forward change.
The Implementation Group is independent. It is chaired by Sir Don Curry who chaired the Policy Commission which produced the blueprint for the future of farming and food. The Group members have an interest and influence in the key areas to be covered by the Strategy.

Margaret Beckett, Secretary of State for Environment Food and Rural Affairs, announced on 27 February 2006 that she has asked Sir Don Curry to continue in his role of overseeing and driving forward the delivery of the Sustainable Farming and Food Strategy during the next three years.
Sir Don Curry will lead a small delivery group for three years made up of independent people who are experienced deliverers in their own right and understand the particular challenges facing the industry and Government.
Terms of Reference of the Implementation Group
To drive and oversee change in the farming and food sectors in England through the implementation of the Government's Strategy for Sustainable Farming and Food.
The Group reports to the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs.
