2.8 Need for Studies, Demonstration Projects, Training or Technical Assistance
Due to the innovative nature of many of the Article 33 Measures, and the likely new ways in which they will integrate between environmental, social and economic activities, studies are likely to be needed to ensure that projects are fully penetrative. Studies will undoubtedly be needed but their number and scope have yet to be fully identified.
It is expected that all training will be provided in conjunction with projects and appropriate activities. The need for training has been identified in Chapter 1.
Technical assistance will be needed for activities to promote, prepare, appraise, monitor and evaluate planned or undertaken measures under the regional RDR.
