Water strategy - implementation

The Government cannot deliver the water strategy on its own. Everyone needs to take part and share responsibility for protecting our water resources. We will discuss with stakeholders the best way of implementing the vision outlined in the strategy. More details will be available shortly.

Implementation of the strategy can be tailored to local circumstances. Innovation and new developments may also make new solutions available. Consultations on policy proposals will be accompanied by impact assessments. Value for money, affordability and environmental impact are key criteria in such assessments.
