2. If you have a specific query concerning the interpretation of the Action Programme measures please refer to the Action Programme Technical Queries page.

• Defra helpline (08459 33 55 77)- for general queries. Calls are charged at the local rate and lines are open 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday.
• Environment Agency helpline (08708 506 506) - for help with the interpretation of rules and queries on the current Action Programme measures. Calls are charged at the local rate, and lines are open between 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday.
• Water Quality Division (nitratesdirectiveteam@defra.gsi.gov.uk) - for general queries on the Nitrates Directive and its implementation in England.
