UK Marine Monitoring and Assessment: Inter-Agency Aerial Monitoring Group

The Inter-Agency Aerial Monitoring Group (IAMG) was established as part of the UK Marine Monitoring and Assessment Strategy to review how information for marine monitoring might be reshaped to ensure that monitoring programmes are sufficient for the UK to commit to an ecosystem approach to the management of the marine environment.

The Group will act as a forum for those that conduct aerial surveys of the marine environment, including satellite observations, so as to exchange ideas and to assist each other where possible.

The IAMG is Chaired by Toby Stone (MCA).
