Advisory Committee on Farm Plastics (ACFP)
In March 2006 the Government announed plans to implement new producer responsiblity legislation which will obligate producers and importers of non-packaging farm plastic to fund the collection and reprocessing of this plastic.

The ACFP was established in May 2006 to advise the Government on how to frame the new Regulations. This group was a sub-group of the Advisory Committee on Packaging (ACP) . Further information about the group is now available on the Environment Agency website
