The Environment in your Pocket

Front Page

The 2007 edition of EIYP is published on 9th November 2007. This link for quick information.

The Environment in your Pocket is a distillation of key statistics and facts from the e- Digest of Environmental Statistics. EIYP also includes UK Framework Indicators from the set of UK Government Sustainable Development Strategy indicators. The full set of indicators can be accessed on the government sustainable development website.

EIYP is revised annually. The e-Digest of Environmental Statistics is updated several times during the year and that internet site may therefore contain more recent or revised data than on the related page in paper or PDF versions of EIYP.

Most of the pages from EIYP are represented by Key Facts on this website. The Key Facts pages are linked to the more detailed information in the e-Digest and will be updated in tandem with the e-Digest.

We have also produced a Microsoft PowerPoint version in response to feedback from our 2006 reader questionnaire. It contains all the charts and text from each page of the 2007 publication as published in November 2007. Tables, explanatory notes and introductory text are omitted. Download [ZIP Archive 3.2mb]
