Best Value Indicator BV217
Best Value Performance Indicators provide valuable evidence about the performance of local authorities.
They enable local authorities to benchmark themselves against councils in other areas; they allow the government (via the Department of Communities and Local Government (DCLG) to monitor progress over time and provide useful information to local people.
BV217 is specific to the work that local authorities do on local air pollution control.
